Athina Trevlia – Speech Therapist – Voice Trainer

She was born in Thessaloniki. She studied Speech Therapy at the Higher Technological Educational Institution of Patras and continued her studies at the Master of Arts in Voice Studies department of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (CSSD) University of London, as well as at University College London where she received the IPA Certificate on Phonetics and Phonology. She has attended continuing education seminars of internationally recognized voice training and voice therapy methods, such as Estill Voice Training©, Linklater Voice and Voicecraft©.
Since 2006 she has been working as a speech therapist, voice therapist and voice trainer, clinically practicing speech therapy in individual therapy sessions and voice training in individual or group lessons as well as in intensive targeted seminars. She has taught voice technique to actors, singers, teachers, announcers, lawyers, cantors, call center operators and business executives. She has cooperated and still cooperates with drama schools, such as the Drama School of the National Theater and the Drama School of the Athens Conservatory, teaching Oral Speech Education. She is a recognized teacher of Oral Language Education by the Ministry of Culture, and a certified presenter of seminars of the LAEK program. As a speech therapist, she has taught at the academic level of speech therapy education at the Technical University of Patras and at the Aegean College. She was a founding member and collaborator of the Athens Voice & Swallowing Center.
