Despina Lagoudaki was born in Rethymnon. She is a graduate of the Higher State School of Orchestral Art. She has done seminars in Greece and abroad with renowned dancers and choreographers. In 2017 she reached the final of the Greek So You Think You Can Dance, winning fourth place. She has collaborated with the Higher State School of Orchestral Art team for productions in New York, Herodeion, Megaro Musikis and Piraeus 260, with Kostas Filippoglou in ‘Prometheus Bound for the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, the ‘Octana Dance Theatre’ by Konstantinos Rigos (‘Rite of Spring ‘), Antonis Foniadakis (‘Salema’ and ‘Salema Revisited’), Pennys Diamantopoulou’s ‘Arthrosis’ dance group (‘Unhinged’), the “Dancers of the North” (‘Persevere’, ‘The Portrait of Dorian Gray’ ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘Dmitri Shostakovich: Chamber Symphony, opus 110a’ in collaboration with the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, ‘Medusa, ‘Skeleton- Sea’) and Alexandros Stavropoulos in the works ‘Cinderella’s’, work selected at Aerowaves, as and “On Wednesdays We Wear Pink” for the Festival of Young Choreographers at the Onassis Stegi.
